Very light and minimalistic design, the helmet-shaped safety glasses with clear Platinum lenses for work use. Ideal for conditions where there is strong artificial lighting, risk of fogging, risk of scratching and good color discrimination is required. Anti-static construction.
Protects the eyes from UVA, UVB and UVC rays up to 190 nm without interfering with color discrimination, from flying objects and mechanical risks (6 mm 0.86 g metal ball 45 m/s), even in extreme temperatures.
Anti-fog coated and anti-scratch coated lenses where the coating significantly exceeds the requirements of the Class N and Class K test methods. Optical category 1 of polycarbonate lenses: Designed for long-term continuous use.
Advantages of the PLATINUM coating:
- Excellent protection against fogging, ensuring good vision in varying conditions
- Excellent resistance to mechanical wear preventing the formation of scratches
- Resistant to cleaning (cleaning with water & soap combination or Bollé Safety B-Clean products)
- Permanently on both sides of the lenses
- Improves operational efficiency, safety, reliability and comfort of use of protective glasses

Essential safety information for those working in artificial lighting:
When protecting yourself from the invisible but dangerous UV radiation produced by artificial light, it is essential to check the wavelength of the light produced by the lamp: UVA (315-380 nm), UVB (280-315 nm) or UVC (100-280 nm). At the same time, it should be taken into account that the test methods of the EN166 eye protection standard do not include protection from UVC at all! The EN166 standard includes a UV light filtering test only between 280 nm and 380 nm, which is why almost all protective glasses on the market only protect against UVA and UVB rays. For protection against UVC (e.g. in the quality control of the electronics industry), you should choose Bollé Safety Contour (ESP or clear), Axis (Contrast or clear), Mamba (clear) or Viper (clear) and Squale (clear) for use over glasses; in them, the lens also offers protection from UVC wavelengths of 190 nm -280 nm.
Lens materials for safety glasses:
When you need comprehensive UV protection, you should choose a polycarbonate insert; it offers protection from UVA and UVB, and the best from UVC as well.
