Bodyflex® Boswellia nutritional supplement contains AprèsFlex® Boswellia serrata extract 100 mg/capsule. AprèsFlex® is a new generation patented extract whose active ingredient acetyl-11-keto-beta-boswellic acid or AKBA is standardized. The synergistic effect of the substances in the extract exceeds the effects of the individual substances. Compared to pure AKBA, AprèsFlex® is absorbed more efficiently through cell membranes, its concentration in the blood is higher, it is more long-lasting and has a stronger effect. Boswellia serrata extract is obtained from the resin of trees of the Boswellia family. The part of the plant used is resin, which has a history of thousands of years of use in Indian Ayurvedic medicine and also in Chinese medicine, e.g. for the well-being of the joints, skin and respiratory tract.
