The carbon and particle filters are integrated into one unit in the mask frame. An ergonomic model whose low-profile design enables a good field of vision. The breathing resistance of the improved exhalation valve is more than 30 percent lower than in the previous model.
Protects against organic vapors (boiling point above +65 °C) and inorganic and acidic gases up to a maximum concentration of 10 x HTP or 1000 ppm (whichever is smaller) and particles up to a maximum concentration of 10 x HTP.
Approvals: EN 405, category FFABE1P3D.
Features:
- Filter type Combination filter
- Filter class AEHgP3
- Exhalation valve Yes
- Main material TPE
- Size One size
Explanations of the type symbols of the filters:
- A = Filters organic gases and vapors with a boiling point >65 °C. Brown color on the side of the filter. (Gas molecules are such small molecules that they pass through a particle filter).
- 1 = Low gas density, less than 1000 ppm (=1000 ml/m3).
- P3 = The most effective particle filtration class from dust, mist and steam containing e.g. microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses, gypsum, wood or textile fibers, marble, titanium oxide, soapstone, stone wool, cleaning agents, oil, spices, salt, feed, etc. Protects from dust, which can cause lung diseases caused by e.g. cotton, graphite, kaolin, zinc and aluminum. Also protects against harmful dust caused by e.g. coal, asbestos (always check site-specific demolition instructions), bauxite, quartz and iron ore. Also protects against toxic dust caused by e.g. manganese, lead and chromium. Efficiency: 99.98% (up to 0.3 micrometer particle size).
- B = Filters inorganic gases and vapors with a boiling point >65 °C (excluding carbon monoxide).
- E = Filters sulfur dioxide and other corrosive gases and vapors.
- K = Filters ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives.
- R = Reusable filters
