Mainio sock yarn represents the middle thickness of Lankava's own sock yarn family. It is spun from six thin strands and is made from 75% machine-washable Superwash wool, with 25% polyamide added to ensure durability. A 100 g ball contains approx. 260 meters of yarn and the recommended needle size is 3-3.5 mm. The yarn is perfect for making socks, accessories and knitwear for the whole family, for yourself, for your family and as a gift! Mainio is a great choice for beautiful embroidered knitwear, for example, and the end result is not too thick.
Also check out other sock yarns in Lankava's own product family: Lankava Sulo (4-ply, 100 g = approx. 400 m) and Lankava Lysti (8-ply, 100 g = approx. 200 m).
Due to production-technical reasons, knots may appear in the yarn. The yarn is made in Turkey.
Note. In variegated shades, the number of stitches in the work significantly affects the pattern formed.
