This liquid plastic hardens when in contact with metal without the influence of oxygen (absence of oxygen). The connecting surfaces must be dry, dust-free and grease-free. Moisten the surfaces to be locked sufficiently and connect them immediately.

This can cause micro-cracks that can lead to leaks. Therefore, it is highly recommended to carry out preliminary tests and thus ensure the success of the process, if the sealing liquid for pipe thread joints is used in copper connections that come into long-term contact with water at a temperature ≥ 40 °C. Prolonged exposure to the liquid product may affect the following plastics: ABS, celluloid, cellular polystyrene, polycarbonate (Macrolon), PMMA (Plexiglas), polysulfone, SAN (Luran, Tyril), Vinidur, volcanic fiber and painted surfaces.
