Liquin Original is the most popular liquid alkydmedium. It is suitable for general use, a low-gloss paint that improves the fluidity and translucency of the color. Liquin speeds up the drying of the color and smoothes brush marks. Excellent when painting thin translucent surfaces. Alkyd-based paints, which have been available for over twenty years, actually offer significant advantages over both oil and Griffin alkyd paint. Generally compared to oil-based paints, they greatly reduce yellowing and age-related color fading, drying cracking, and drying time, which is perhaps the most important feature. Alkyd-based paints can be found under the Liquin label.
