The multifunctional Vitacell® NAC + quercetin + C nutritional supplement contains a versatile combination of the amino acid n-acetylcysteine, plant-derived quercetin and vitamin C to support immunity.
N-acetylcysteine (NAC) is converted in the body to cysteine, which is needed for the formation of glutathione. In the human body, n-acetylcysteine is the least of the amino acids needed for the synthesis of glutathione, and its amount can be supplemented with a dietary supplement. Cysteine is the so-called a semi-essential amino acid because the body can produce some of it from other amino acids.
Quercetin is a natural flavonoid derived from the above-ground parts of the Sophoria japonica plant.
Vitamin C promotes the normal functioning of the immune system and the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
