Blueberry is a nutritious forest berry. It is rich in potassium and vitamins C, K and E, as well as carotenoids, precursors of vitamin A. There is little fat in blueberries, but almost all of it is useful linoleic and linolenic acid. Blueberry, which soothes the stomach and is rich in fiber, has traditionally been used for intestinal problems. Blueberry contains anthocyanins, which belong to flavonoids. Anthocyanins are especially beneficial for the eyes. The good effect of anthocyanins on the eyes is largely based on the fact that they stimulate peripheral blood circulation.
Visioblue Strong capsules contain blueberry extract with a standardized anthocyanin content. Anthocyanins prevent the clotting of blood platelets, which is good to know for those taking blood thinners.
