Vetcare vitamin E 100 ml complementary feed is an important addition to dog and horse nutrition. A dog's body cannot form vitamin E on its own, so its intake may be insufficient with nutrition alone. Horses, on the other hand, get vitamin E naturally from fresh pasture grass, but during the indoor feeding season it can be challenging. Vetcare vitamin E effectively replenishes the amount of vitamin E needed by the animal. This complementary feed contains wheat germ oil and D-α-tocopherol, which are excellent sources of vitamin E. Vitamin E, which acts as an antioxidant, prevents rancidity of fats and helps the body with normal metabolism, growth and development, as well as the endocrine system. Added D-α-tocopherol helps ensure adequate absorption. Dosing is easy to measure with pump actuations. For an adult dog at rest or with light exercise until less than one year of age, one pump press is recommended daily. For adult dogs engaged in demanding exercise, two pump presses are recommended daily. Breeding, pregnant or lactating dogs are given three pump actuations daily. For the horse, the dosage varies depending on the method of feeding. During the indoor feeding season, all horses need three pump actuations (720 IU) daily. For oil-fed horses during the grazing season, it is recommended to press one pump (240 IU) daily if oil feeding is 1-3 dl/day and two pumps (480 IU) daily if oil feeding is more than 3 dl/day. For breeding horses prior to the last month of gestation, three pump actuations (720 IU) daily and five pumps (1200 IU) daily for the last month are recommended. Young horses under 1 year of age are given four pumps of actuation (960 IU) daily. Features:
