MPPT technology automatically adjusts the voltage and current ratio to suit the battery. The efficiency of the operation depends on factors such as the amount of light, the temperature and the type of solar cells. Optimal operation is constantly monitored using the device's internal microprocessor, so the MPPT system always gets the battery charged as efficiently as possible. When the battery's maximum charging voltage has been reached, the controller automatically switches off the charging current.
