Lucina curtain is made of 83% cotton and 17% polyester. The curtain is finished by sewing the sides and hem, with a rod pocket at the top for a curtain rod. The curtain comes with a shortening tape, which allows you to easily shorten the curtain by ironing, without sewing. The curtain also has places for hanging hooks and a pleating tape at the top, so you can make the curtain drape beautifully. The package contains one curtain.
The Lucina pattern, built from gentle, orderly triangles, is the work of Ervin Latimer, chosen as Young Designer of the Year 2020. The geometric look of the hand-drawn pattern was inspired by the shapes and details of Ervin’s 1950s residential building’s lobby. The pattern is named after Lucina Hagman, the first chairperson of the Women’s Union and founder of the Martta association. The design celebrates determined and strong Finnish women.
