The Väinö Ice Box 2 is a traditional ice fishing stool made from polyurethane. It is more commonly known as an ‘ice fishing stool’. The concept behind the stool is very simple. It is a suitably sized box with a lid that you can sit on, and inside you can store your tackle and catch. The stool has a carrying strap and carrying handles, so this model can also be used as a rucksack.
Versatile uses
As well as for ice-fishing trips, you can use the Väinö ice-fishing box to store fishing tackle, carry other items, and even as a cool bag in summer or winter. The box is ideal for keeping your catch or packed lunch cool for longer periods. Thanks to the carrying straps, you can carry the box just like a rucksack.
Removable partition
Inside the box is a removable partition, and the box has several different points for securing the partition. This allows you to organise the box to suit your exact needs.
Durable and lightweight material
The ice fishing box is made from durable yet very lightweight polyurethane, commonly known as polystyrene. The Ice Box can withstand a weight of up to 350 kg. This means the box can certainly support even the heaviest ice fisherman. Thanks to the material, it is also possible to modify the box to accommodate additional accessories or even a sonar unit.
