Master blacksmith Jarkko Kaartilanmäki's handmade shell iron with finger guards. A shaft of tar-linseed-oiled birch. A steel guard is included. Length 620 mm Width 35 mm Tuakon Takomo's log tools are made of high-quality tool steel. The blades are forged and heat treated to achieve the best strength and cutting properties. Each tool is made by hand, this guarantees their high quality. The models of the tools have been designed in cooperation with industry professionals. Jarkko Kaartilanmäki has won the Taonna Finnish Championship in 2004 and 2006. The championship lasts for 2 years. The blacksmith from Sulkava has also visited and lectured at forging events abroad, most recently in Ukraine in 2007. Passed the master blacksmith's display exams in 2011. A stem of oiled birch.
