The electric solution for traditional portable petrol outboards is the Torqeedo Travel battery outboard. Structurally, the motor is robust and high-quality - as standard, a lithium battery with a capacity of no less than 915 Wh, which can be used for e.g. rowing boat driving for up to 10 hours. The motor is high-quality and durable. The motor design is carbon brushless with valuable neodymium magnets, and the power is transferred to the propeller by direct drive. The engine has a GPS connection, which means that the informative LCD screen of the steering handle shows in real time e.g. speed, remaining operating time and radius. Charging is done most smoothly and quickly with the included mains charger. As an accessory, a Torqeedo solar panel is also available for charging, or a charging cable with a cigarette lighter connection for 12-volt charging. The battery is therefore easily charged from 12/24V sources as well.
