Timco Compact Caulking Gun – Designed for Confined Spaces
The Timco compact caulking gun makes work easier in locations where the length of a conventional gun limits access. Its short design adds very little to the overall length of the cartridge, making it easier to work in tight installation spaces.
The mechanism splits the cartridge casing as it advances through the cartridge during dispensing. This eliminates the need for a long plunger rod extending behind the gun. The sturdy aluminium and steel construction minimises flex and provides a solid, controlled feel.
An 18:1 thrust ratio offers a practical balance between dispensing force and feed speed. The gun accepts cartridges up to 310 ml and has a stated dispensing force of approximately 2 kN. Its compact dimensions also save space in your toolbox.
When needed, the tool can also be used as a light-duty clamp to hold workpieces in place during gluing.

Understanding Thrust Ratios
The thrust ratio indicates how much the mechanism amplifies the force applied by your hand. A higher ratio makes thicker materials easier to dispense, but generally requires more trigger strokes to dispense the same amount. Actual dispensing force also depends on hand pressure and the gun’s construction.
7:1–10:1
Fast dispensing for low-viscosity materials. Generally requires fewer trigger strokes for the same output, but more hand pressure than a higher-ratio gun. Suitable for acrylic sealants and easy-to-dispense silicones.
12:1–18:1
A versatile choice for professionals and DIY users. Offers a balance between mechanical advantage and dispensing speed. Suitable for standard silicones and many adhesives and sealants.
25:1 or higher
Makes particularly thick, high-viscosity materials easier to dispense. Suitable for demanding construction adhesives and other materials requiring high dispensing force, provided the cartridge and material are compatible with the gun. Always follow the material manufacturer’s application instructions and temperature limits.
