Safe felling requires great care and precision. Forget gutter poles, old-fashioned fence posts, slimy spikes and lucky charms.
The principle of operation is simple: once the chosen direction of pouring has been decided, the chute is installed in place and the pouring door ensures accurate pouring. This avoids unintentional tipping onto cones, roads, power lines or houses.
The mechanical felling chute produces a force of over 500 kg, allowing trees to be felled in exactly the desired direction easily and without straining the logger. The safety distance must be twice the length of the tree to be felled.
