PLEASE NOTE!- Fasteners are not supplied with the shed.
- It is the responsibility of the person erecting the shed to obtain fixings suitable for the base and the shed’s structure, which will ensure the shed remains secure even in strong winds.
- Consult a construction professional to determine a suitable and adequate anchoring method for the installation site.
- The appropriate anchoring method depends on the wind conditions at the installation site and the underlying ground conditions.
- Retailers or importers are not liable for inadequate securing.
For winter use:- The shed’s roof must always be kept clean. Ensure that fallen snow does not remain on the shed’s roof.
- The shed cover must be kept taut. There must be no ‘pockets’ in the cover, particularly at the top of the shed.
- The shed roof stays cleaner when the cover is taut.
- Ensure that the shed frame is straight throughout. If the shed has been erected directly on the ground, there is a risk that the frame is not straight, which weakens its structural integrity.
- Under no circumstances should snow be cleared from the shed roof from the inside by pushing the cover. This can be life-threatening.
- Always clear snow from the outside using a tool that will not damage the cover.
- The warranty does not cover a shed that has collapsed due to a snow load.
In windy conditions:- Choose a wind-sheltered site for the shed
- We do not recommend erecting the hall in particularly windy locations, such as on the banks of waterways or in open fields.
- Erection must be carried out with particular care and the tarpaulin must be tensioned as tightly as possible.
- The frame must be secured to the ground or a base, for example using ground anchors or concrete blocks.
- In windy weather, ensure that the hall’s doors are closed
- The warranty does not cover damage to the hall caused by strong winds or storms.
