Thrustmaster T598-P takes the sim racing experience to the next level with next-generation Direct Axial Drive technology. The Axial Flux motor delivers Force Feedback directly to the steering wheel without cogging, providing smooth, precise, and highly detailed driving sensations. This allows track conditions and vehicle behavior to be communicated to the driver with greater clarity.
The motor delivers 5 N·m of constant torque and can provide up to +100% temporary overshoot for more powerful effects. An ultra-low 5 ms latency ensures rapid Force Feedback response. HARMONY technology produces high-frequency vibrations, allowing details such as curbs and changes in tire grip to be felt more precisely.
The integrated Race Dash display makes it easy to manage settings. It allows you to adjust and save profiles and customize more than ten different settings. In compatible games, the display can also show more than ten types of racing data, including speed, best lap time, position, and racing flags. The GEAR JOLT feature also reproduces the sensation of gear changes through the steering wheel.
The included 30 cm Sportcar steering wheel features a versatile design suitable for different driving styles. Rubber-coated grips provide a secure hold, while magnetic paddle shifters deliver a crisp and precise feel. The multifunction encoder can be assigned 12 additional functions, keeping important game commands within easy reach. Weighing just 811 g, the lightweight wheel helps transmit the motor’s Force Feedback effects efficiently.
The included Raceline Pedals LTE pedal set features two pedals equipped with H.E.A.R.T. sensors. Pedal resistance can be customized using the included springs and three adjustment positions. Non-slip pads help keep the pedal set securely in place on the floor. The pedal set can later be upgraded to a three-pedal configuration with the separately sold Raceline Pedals Upgrade Kit and Load Cell pedal.
