Years have passed in Tex Willer's life. He has lost his wife Lilyth, but son Kit has grown up among the Navajos into a lively teenager. Kit Carson visits the village and asks Tex to accompany him to chase the murderous trio of his ranger friend Arkansas Joe all the way to Canada. Kidnapped Kit-son and Tiger Jack, who is tracking child kidnappers, also end up there. In the northern wilderness, the partnerships meet for the first time the mounted policeman Jim Brandon and the French-born hunter Gros-Jean. In the adventure, along with the rogue hunt, you get involved in the crooks of the fur trade, the pro-French rebellion and the war of the redcoats in a fort besieged by furious Indians. Tex, Gros-Jean and Tiger Jack are still investigating a case in the Dawson region where the victims of a robbery and murder are found as if they were mauled by a bear.
