Biotin, or vitamin B7, is best known for promoting the condition of the skin, hair and mucous membranes. Biotin is a water-soluble B vitamin, and the risk of overdose has not been demonstrated even with larger doses.
Biotin also has other functions, such as participating in the metabolism of macronutrients such as fats, amino acids and carbohydrates. It promotes, among other things, normal energy metabolism, normal functioning of the nervous system and normal psychological functions.
The zinc added to the product also contributes to maintaining normal skin, hair and nails. It also promotes normal carbohydrate and fatty acid metabolism like biotin.
Methionine is an essential sulfur-containing amino acid that must be obtained from the diet every day, because the body is unable to produce it on its own.
