Terranova Folate 400 µg Complex contains folic acid in a bioactive form, i.e. methylfolate. The body can only store a small amount of folate, and its deficiency is quite common in Western countries.
Many people do not have the ability to convert folic acid into its bioactive form in their bodies, and for this reason, all products containing folate from Terranova are always in methylfolate form. Folate 400 ug also contains folate-rich beets and spinach.
The product is well suited for those who are planning a pregnancy and those who are pregnant.
