CXD is Swiss Diamond's flagship cookware series, combining advanced coating technology with a bold, minimalist design. The result is cookware that looks as impressive as it performs. The Ø 24 cm fry pan is ideal for frying chicken, fish and meat for one or two people. It is also an excellent choice for pancakes and omelettes. The perfectly flat base ensures efficient heat transfer from the hob, while the thick (8 mm) cast aluminium body distributes heat evenly across the entire cooking surface. The robust pan resists warping and retains its shape over time. The body features a two-layer coating consisting of a plasma-hardened surface that protects the body and improves corrosion resistance, and a diamond-reinforced ceramic non-stick coating that provides outstanding food release, heat conductivity and durability (the abrasion resistance of the CXD coating has been verified by an independent testing organisation). The coating is plastic-free and contains no PTFE or PFAS compounds. The ergonomic stainless steel handle is attached without rivets penetrating the body, leaving the interior completely smooth for easy and hygienic cleaning. The stainless steel handle heats relatively slowly on the hob, but oven gloves should always be used when handling the pan in the oven. Suitable for all hob types, including induction.
