The distributed wood fire door is a white, smooth fire door suitable for indoor use. It is used as a sound dampener and in fire situations as a fire insulating door indoors. A closed EI130 fire door can withstand fire for at least 30 minutes, which means that the fire will pass through the door, and the surface temperature of the door will not exceed the specified values. The air sound insulation value of the door is Rw 38 dB and it belongs to the sound class 30 dB, so the sound insulation properties of the door muffle normal speech from the other side of the door, but louder sounds such as shouting may be heard through the door. In order for the sound insulation properties of the door to get their due, attention must also be paid to the structure of the wall.
