The moped is manufactured in Suomen Langa's family business in Lappajärvi, in the village of Karvala. Moppar's raw material is recycled cotton, which is produced from cutting waste from the textile industry. The yarn is not dyed, but the color of the yarn is created by combining different colored fibers together. About 20% polyester is added to the cotton to make the yarn durable. Moppari is sold in rolls of one kilo and one roll contains about 300 meters of thread. Moppari is a popular thread for macrame knitting, crocheting and weaving. Moppari is a snappy, twisted yarn, which can be opened and fringed if desired. The thickness of the thread is about 3mm. The Moppari spiral cord bears the symbol of the Key flag.
