Sous-vide is a cooking method where the meat, fish or vegetables to be cooked are packed in a vacuum bag and cooked in a water bath at a low temperature. The temperature is selected according to the food to be cooked. The Sous Vide thermometer can be used to ensure that the food has reached the desired temperature. The sensor has a very narrow end (1.5 mm), which is inserted into the vacuum bag with the help of foam tape, so that the vacuum in the bag is not lost. The length of the sensor tip is 130 mm and the sensor has a cable about a meter long. The package includes two meters of foam tape. There is a magnet on the back of the meter, so it is easy to attach it to a steel surface.
