The X400 wind generator is recommended for use in coastal and island environments. The wind generator is a great addition for energy production during the darker seasons. The X400 is also ideal for sailing boats, even for longer sailing trips.
The availability of solar energy is limited from spring to autumn, while wind energy is more evenly available all year round. A wind generator is therefore a good addition to a solar energy system if the cottage season extends well into autumn or is year-round.
The X400 uses the latest technology in small wind turbines. All components of the wind turbine are of high quality and are made to withstand marine conditions. The X400 wind turbine reaches its peak power of 400 W when the wind speed is 12.5 m/s. Electricity generation starts at 2.5 m/s. The X400 is relatively quiet.
The X400 wind turbine has a hybrid controller, which means that in addition to the wind turbine, you can also connect solar panels up to a maximum power of 12 kW. The charge controller monitors the battery charge and prevents overcharging of the battery. The charge controller is separate, so wiring and possible maintenance is easy.
