12 volt compressor fridges cool quickly. The Nova series is very energy efficient compared to other 12-volt refrigerators, but be aware that they still make up the majority of your energy consumption. The ambient temperature is the main factor affecting energy consumption. Standards are usually measured at around 25 degrees Celsius, and at higher temperatures, consumption increases. As a general rule, you can estimate that a normal-sized, 110-liter refrigerator consumes about 370 watt-hours per day.
A 12V refrigerator, 132 liters, consumes an average of 457 watt-hours per day, with a maximum current draw of 4.6 amps, or an average of 1.6 amps.
Note that the refrigerator should be plugged directly into a 12-volt battery. Take into account the thickness of the cable depending on the distance between the fridge and the battery - as a general rule, you should use one square millimetre of cable per metre, i.e. 10 metres needs 10 square millimetres of cable.
The door of the fridge can be changed.
The battery connector is not included and must be purchased separately.
