The patch quickly relieves various pains related to, for example, muscle tension, neck pain, rheumatoid arthritis, hyperostosis, knee joint pain, tendonitis, sprains and sprains, sciatica or fibromyalgia.
What is the effect of the patch based on?
Capsaicin irritates the nerve fibers that transmit pain messages. When capsaicin is absorbed into the skin, it irritates the thin nerve fibers and forces them to withdraw from the surface of the skin. The skin tolerates contact better and is less painful.
The patch can be used, for example, to treat pain related to local nerve damage, such as pain caused by shingles and skin sensitization. It is not useful for treating back pain and other widespread pain.
