STP Smoke Treatment is a mineral oil-based additive that improves the oil&#39;s viscosity index, i.e. strengthens the oil film. In this way, oil consumption and smoking are reduced. STP Smoke Treatment when used regularly: <ul><li> Reduces engine wear</li><li> Provides additional protection for the engine</li><li> Reduces emissions by keeping the engine cleaner</li><li> Reduces oil oxidation in hot temperatures</li><li> Protects against rusting</li><li> Reduce smoking</li><li> Reduces oil consumption</li><li> Dampens noisy valves and valve lifters</li></ul> Recommended for use in all four-stroke gasoline engines, cars, boats, tractors, motorcycles, etc. Can also be used in diesel engines, but only when it is known that smoking is caused by burning oil. Miscible with both mineral and synthetic oils. Can be used in cars equipped with turbochargers. Should not be used in a car equipped with a wet clutch. The friction-reducing properties of the additive can cause the clutch to slip. Should not be used on two-stroke engines. It is best added after an oil change or between changes to improve or increase the functionality of the engine oil. Can be used with other STP additives.
