The STIHL RLA 240 battery-operated lawn aerator is ideal for taking care of smaller, more irregular lawns. This cordless aerator is equipped with the battery system of the STIHL AK product family and a quiet electric motor, which allows you to maintain the lawn wirelessly and you can enjoy complete freedom of movement. With a working width of 34 cm and an adjustable height, the aerator combines high maneuverability and efficiency - especially on angular lawns. You can either remove dead grass and moss from the lawn with a moss removal unit, or let the vertical mowing unit cut the surface of the ground and help the lawn get vital oxygen. Just attach the tool you need in a few simple steps, adjust the working depth infinitely from the handle and start aerating or cleaning the lawn. Plant residues that may accumulate are collected in a 50-liter collection tank. The STIHL RLA 240 is energy efficient and very light and robust thanks to its polymer housing. The easy-running wheels make it easy to move, the folding handlebar and two integrated carrying handles simplify transport, and the spring mechanism makes removing the lithium-ion battery and putting it in an intermediate position very easy.
Standard equipment
Cutting depth adjustment The cutting depth can be set to 6 different levels, easily and ergonomically directly from the handle. Set the desired cutting depth and use the turning handle to lower the machine into the working position. To move the cutter, it is easy to pull the machine back to the transport position with the swivel handle.
Carrying handle The cutter has an integrated carrying handle. A very practical and convenient detail for transporting and lifting the mower.
Folding push rod The push rod folds down easily by loosening two screws. This way, it takes up as little space as possible when storing and is easy to turn into the cleaning position.
Frictionless wheels with ball bearings The wheels with double ball bearings, which rotate very smoothly, are very robust, offer a high level of driving comfort and are long-lasting.
Moss removal unit The hooks of the moss removal unit remove moss, grass blocks, old clippings and weeds and improve soil ventilation. The moss removal unit can replace the vertical cutting unit in the RLE 240 model.
Polymer frame The polymer frame made of high-tech material combines unusual lightness with a durable and solid structure.
Vertical cutting unit Fixed blades aerate the lawn effectively. Sharp, robustly constructed blades produce results persistently and economically.
