The fixed nuts of the bite guard When you need to open the nuts of the bite guard, e.g. to change the saw chain, the nuts stay firmly attached to the bite guard. So there is no more fear of losing the nuts. This greatly facilitates the user.
Adjustable oil pump When sawing with different length blade plates, different types of trees and different techniques, these need different amounts of oil. The adjustable oil pump allows you to regulate the oil according to your needs.
Lateral tensioning of the blade chain EASY AND SAFE POST-TIGHTENING. Side tensioning of the blade chain guarantees safe, easy and quick re-tensioning and chain replacement. The tensioning screw is used through the sprocket cover in the side direction.
Combination switch with stop function EASY TO USE. In the combination circuit breaker, only one start position is needed. When the engine is turned off, the switch automatically returns to the operating position thanks to the stop function. A warm machine can thus be restarted immediately.
STIHL 4-channel flushing technology The fuel/air mixture is led into the combustion chamber through 4 different flushing channels. Combustion is optimal and engine power increases significantly. The result: lower fuel consumption, increased power and less harmful emissions.
STIHL vibration damping system PLEASANT WORKING. Using the device produces vibration, which is primarily felt in the area of the handle. The bumper and spring parts of the STIHL anti-vibration system reduce the transfer of engine vibration to the handle area and thus to your body. The end result: The device stays in your hand more calmly, so you can work without getting tired.
STIHL Ematic system LOWER OIL CONSUMPTION. The STIHL Ematic system includes a STIHL Ematic or Ematic S blade plate, a STIHL Oilomatic blade chain and an adjustable oil pump. It feeds the chain oil where it is needed for lubrication. In this way, oil consumption can be reduced by up to 50%. If you often work in dusty conditions or use long blade plates, with the new oil pump system you can increase the amount of oil easily and quickly.
Oil and fuel tank that can be opened without tools FAST AND EASY TO USE. Thanks to the bayonet cap, the oil and fuel tank can be opened and closed easily with a few moves without tools.
