The FS 490 C-EM K is the ideal choice for forest clearance work. With its short axle and standard STIHL WoodCut 225-24 clearing blade, you can manoeuvre in tight spaces and are perfectly equipped to clear brush, thickets and thin trees.
The petrol-powered STIHL FS 490 C-EM K clearing saw is powered by a STIHL 2-MIX engine with 2.4 kW (3.3 hp). The engine allows you to clear the cut quickly and efficiently, depending on the cutting tool. STIHL ErgoStart makes starting the machine particularly convenient and energy-saving. STIHL M-Tronic ensures optimum engine performance and a constant maximum speed when working with the FS 490 C-EM K brushcutter.
The ergonomic two-hand grip optimizes working comfort. The innovative ADVANCE Grip handle element provides a highly ergonomic and intuitive working experience by supporting the natural lateral cutting motion. Cutting functions are combined in a one-hand grip for easy control. The STIHL vibration dampening system reduces vibrations from the motor to protect muscles and joints. The machine also comes standard with STIHL X-TREEm universal harnesses for ergonomic and less strenuous work.
