Paraffin granules for making candles. Use as is or together with stearin.
Candles made from pure paraffin are soft, and their melting point is lower than stearin candles. Thanks to the soft material, the paraffin candle does not break as easily as a candle made of pure stearin. Paraffin candles also burn a little faster than stearin candles. The candle made of paraffin is slightly translucent, but the candle mass can also be colored with candle colors.
A mixture of paraffin and stearin is often used when making cast and mold candles. The right mixture ratio depends on preferences as well as the thickness of the candle, and is often best found by experimenting. The amount of paraffin, depending on the candle, is often around 50-70%.
