For all greetings and party invitations, the fairy stamps, which are the handiwork of the beloved postcard artist Virpi Pekkalan, are perfect. &quot;The fairies act as masters of ceremonies for congratulations and celebrations on spring stamps and play a fanfare for spring.&quot; &quot;Fairies are friendly and gentle fairy-tale creatures that have fascinated my imagination since I was a child. The fairy characters in a storybook made an indelible image in my memory, and I must have drawn my own fairy pictures as their cousins,&quot; says Pekkala. Over the years, fairies have had adventures in several of Virpi Pekkala&#39;s illustrations. &quot;Fairies often pop into my pictures all by themselves - both summer and Christmas cards, advent calendars, and most recently the 2022 wall calendar. The fairies skate in the reeds in January, swim in the pond in July, retire to their winter nest in November and light candles with the elves in December.&quot; In the spring, a sheet of 10 stamps is in the air, with 5 different domestic stamps.
