Lemon balm is, as its name suggests, a lemon-scented herb belonging to the mint family, which is used e.g. for seasoning and as herbal tea. Bees absolutely love lemon balm flowers, from which they diligently collect nectar. The most important phytochemicals of lemon balm are the terpenes contained in its essential oil. The essential oil is isolated from the leaves of the plant.
