EP 10 is a waterborne 2-component moisture-wicking floor coating for concrete surfaces. Excellent for applications where good moisture and chemical resistance is required. The smooth and seamless epoxy surface is easy to clean. Can be roughened with quartz sand if required.

Floor work:
The surface to be coated must be clean. Any concrete adhesive on the surface of the new concrete must be carefully removed by grinding or acid cleaning (Solmaster RKL Acid Wash). Old concrete that has been in use should be cleaned of grease, oil and other dirt (Solmaster ML Paint Cleaner). Sand away any uneven areas and any old coating that has come off. Dull the intact, previously coated surface by sanding to ensure adhesion. Finally, vacuum away all loose dirt.
Plastering:
First, mix the resin component thoroughly. Then measure 1 part resin and 1 part hardener into a separate container and mix thoroughly. Thin the first coat mixture with water 20-35%. Apply the coating with a roller or brush within 30 minutes, cross-applying (vertically and horizontally). Apply the second coat unthinned within 2 days of the previous application. If the second coat is applied after 2 days, we recommend a light intermediate sanding of the surface to be coated to ensure adhesion.
- Thickness: two coats of roller achieve a dry film thickness of approx. 0.2 mm.
- Washing of tools: tools can be washed with water and detergent immediately after use.
