Solgar® Griffonia 5-HTP Complex supports balanced well-being in a demanding everyday life. The product contains, in addition to 5-HTP, valerian root, which supports relaxation, and vitamin B6, which supports normal psychological functions. This unique combination helps with recovery after a busy day and aids in falling asleep.
5-HTP (hydroxytryptophan) is a natural amino acid from which the body produces serotonin, a neurotransmitter that affects mood. Serotonin is converted in the evening into melatonin, which regulates the sleep-wake cycle. The Solgar 5-HTP capsule can help support serotonin levels, along with vitamin B6, which helps prevent general fatigue and exhaustion. Valerian, in turn, has been used to support mood and sleep quality. The product is suitable for vegetarians and vegans and contains no soy, milk, or gluten.
