The starting point for the design of the Sightron SIII riflescopes was to create a practical, optically high-quality and mechanically durable series of binoculars for demanding use, but at a reasonable price. All Sightron SIII scopes feature a 30mm frame tube machined from 6061 T-6 aircraft aluminum alloy. The thicker than normal walls of the frame tube make the structure of the binoculars exceptionally durable. Other basic features of the Sightron SIII scopes include a long eye distance, ample adjustment allowances (heel/side), precise and robust adjustments with resettable basic positions, quick adjustment of the eyepiece and parallax adjustment in the third tower (side focus). The internal lens surfaces of the binoculars have a Zact-7™ coating developed by Sightron, thanks to which the light transmission of the individual lenses is over 99%. The external lens surfaces have a water-repellent Climate Control coating. The patented ExacTrack™ adjustment mechanism keeps the point of impact in place from shot to shot. As a guarantee of quality, the SIII series binoculars have a lifetime warranty.
