With Expand Mesh, you can communicate hands-free with other Sena Mesh Intercom™ users up to 400 meters away, or up to 1.6 kilometers with six or more users. Expand Mesh features both a group network mode and a multi-channel open network mode that supports 9 channels, allowing users to switch between different groups on different frequencies. Sena's Mesh platform provides flexibility by allowing users to enter and exit the coverage area while keeping the rest of the group connected without interruption.
Expand Mesh is designed in a low-profile form factor that sits comfortably on the user's ears while still allowing detection of surrounding sounds. Expand Mesh features rounded arms located just above the speakers for a secure fit over the head and ears. The device's low-hanging neckband also allows users to wear a hat, climbing helmet or goggles when wearing Expand Mesh headphones.
In addition to the built-in intercom system, Expand Mesh also allows Bluetooth® connectivity to a smartphone. When connected to your smartphone, you can listen to music, hear GPS directions, fitness app tips or even answer a call. With Sena's Audio Multitasking™ feature, users can listen to audio from their smartphone and still communicate via the Mesh intercom system without interrupting the conversation. Expand Mesh is also compatible with the Sena Outdoor App, which allows users to set up intercom groups, adjust device settings and access the device's quick guide on the go.
