The Scandinavian Tackle Rocker fishing reel brings a real premium feel to your fishing. Not only is this reel all about its handsome design and stylish colour scheme, but it hides top quality materials, bearings and other components. The comfort of the reel has been honed to the last detail and the feel on a spinning reel can't get much better than this. This reel is ideal for winter fishing, as well as boat or dock fishing in the summer.
The Scandinavian Tackle Rocker reel features an excellent Free Fall side release mechanism that allows you to drop the line with the push of a button. This way you avoid line tangles. Unlike many Free Fall reels, the Rocker reel has a separate sensitivity control for the release.
The reel's fast 2.5:1 gear ratio allows for fast reeling, which means you can quickly change the fishing depth when you need to, e.g. when you see a fish at a different depth, for example on a sonar. In practice, this spacing means 48cm of reeling with a single turn of the comb. The bait is reeled in from a depth of tens of metres in a very short time. The fast transmission combined with the Free Fall bobbin release allows the lure to be raised and lowered in quick pulses.
The reel body down to every component is made of durable and high quality materials, there is no "plastic" feel to this reel. As a special feature, the comb knobs on the reel are cork. The design and size of the reel allows it to be used well even with thick knickers in hand in cold sleet and gives the reel a firm grip.
The reel has an efficient max. 3,6kg brake, which is adjusted by a large star wheel on the side of the comb. The adjustment is precise, so you can always adjust the brake to suit the situation.
