A set of straw hats for the fighting backpacks. The outer surface is 500D Cordura, the body side is flexible Cordura Comfort and between the two is a reasonably thin but suitably stiff 8mm 50kg/m2 foam. These won't sag with slightly heavier loads. 25mm tape is trimmed through the whole thing at several points from the tip of the shoulder blade to the tip. The loops formed in the tape act as locking attachment points on the strap, which can be moved up and down along the shoulder straps or removed completely as needed.
