Jääkäri M (Jääkäri backpack) is an improved model of the Light Border Patrol backpack originally designed for the Border Guard. Authentic user experiences have been listened to in the design of the backpack, and the best pieces of numerous ideas have been sewn into Jääkäri M. Jääkär's numerous details and comprehensive MOLLE compartment with additional pocket possibilities make it a modular and versatile work tool compared to traditional daypacks.
Thanks to its narrow shape, the backpack does not get in the way even in tight spaces when moving. Attention has also been paid to mobility in the design and ergonomics of the carrying system. In its size category, the Jääkäri M is sturdy and sturdy to carry, but still easy to handle with a backpack on your back. This is especially beneficial when moving with poles, cycling or shooting with a backpack on your back. Due to its size, the Jääkäri M is also suitable as hand luggage on an airplane.
Jääkäri M's backpack (average dimensions 52 x 25 x 17 cm) is designed to be narrow, but still roomy enough to fit the equipment needed for a day trip. On the inside of the flap, there is a spacious valuables pocket (dimensions approx. 25 x 25 cm) that can be closed with a zipper.
Inside the rucksack there is a pocket (dimensions approx. 23cm x 37cm) for a water bladder or accessories to be kept separately. This pocket can fit, for example, a 13-inch laptop or a pad. The mouth of the pocket has an elastic band that keeps the contents inside the pocket.
On both sides of the backpack, under the flap, there are protected outlets for the bladder hoses. The openings can also be used for other antennas or antennas as needed.
With the four compression straps found on the sides of the backpack, the backpack bag can be tightened even with insufficient packing. At the bottom of the sides, there are open pockets with elastic bands, which can be used as a place for a drinking bottle or for transporting small items. There are metal drainage rings at the bottom of the lower pockets.
PALS / MOLLE is a mounting system used by the military in almost every country. This fastening system was created for a need where absolute modularity and durability are required. With Molle, you can attach any PALS compatible pocket almost anywhere you want on the backpack. In addition to the modular attachment option, the mollekujast strengthens and supports the backpack. One Jääkäri M molle loop can withstand more than 100kg of pull. The straps for attaching the flap are long and run along the entire front and bottom of the backpack. At the bottom of the backpack there are four ribbon guide loops, through which the straps run and enable the equipment to be tied to the bottom of the backpack as well.
Anatomically shaped sturdy shoulder pads and a low-profile but sturdy hip belt make carrying ergonomic. The centralized tightening of the hip belt is implemented with 25mm ladder buckles on both sides of the hips. Tightening the backpack is facilitated by the finger loops sewn into the hip belt, by pulling on which the backpack can be tightened on the hip with one inward movement.
The carrying comfort of the back part of the backpack is improved by the generously sized and sturdy padding cushions that sit against the back, which are rare in backpacks of this size class. The cushion at the lower back can also be removed if desired. If necessary, the lap belt can be folded and hidden under the lap belt cushion. For lifting the backpack on the back or carrying it in the hand, the backpack has a carrying handle at the neck. The handle is sized to be a good size so that it is easy to grip it with gloves on.
