There are times when you need to sit, kneel or work in cold, wet and snowy terrain. This foldable seat base provides an insulated base and an even greater, non-insulated but waterproof, protection to keep you warm, dry and clean. The earthbag-style flaps protect your backside from getting wet when sitting on wet terrain or in
snow, a remarkably nice touch in some places.
In addition to providing protection and kneeling, the clean surface provided by the seat platform is also an excellent working area for fiddling with gear. Particularly handy, for example, for clipping camera equipment, cleaning weapons, etc.
The padded/insulated area measures 48 x 44 cm, with a small gap between two pieces of insulation. The overall external dimensions of the whole seat, when spread out, are 64 x 64 cm. When folded for transport, the dimensions are 24 x 44 x 2 cm.
