In Restart, you can gamble and pot if the correct numbers are on the tiles. A fun family game that will keep the excitement going until the end! The game is won by the first player to get rid of their tiles - or the player with the fewest points at the end of the game. The strategic depth of the game comes from special tiles, such as RESTART and END tiles, which can change the direction of the game in an instant! In addition, scissors and a trash can offer the possibility to remove or discard tiles, which adds more tactics to the game. Restart is something you'll want to start over and over again!
Players are given view screens and a number of tiles are distributed behind the view screens depending on the number of players. From the distributed tiles, players place all 1 tiles in the center of the table to start a row of each of the five colors of the game.
On their turn, a player may play one or possibly more tiles as a continuation of a row of the same color. The tiles played must always be higher in numerical value than the previous one, and more than one may only be played if they are consecutive numbers (e.g. 4,5 and 6 all of the same colour).
There are five colours of tiles, numbers 1-15, plus two special 16-value tiles, of which the 16-END tile played last ends the row, while the 16-Restart tile starts the row numbering from the beginning. In addition to the coloured tiles, there are two different special tiles that can be played on any colour line: the scissors special tile allows you to remove the last tile played on a line. The trash special tile allows you to remove all tiles in a row except the 1 tile that starts the row. After playing the scissors or trash, the player may immediately resume his turn by playing the number tile(s) on the same row from which he removed the tile(s).
The round ends when no one can play any more, after which the remaining tiles are scored and a new round is started by redistributing the tiles. The game continues until one of the players has 100 or more points. The player with the least points wins!
