The newest addition to the Rebelcell battery collection is the PRO series LiFePo4 battery, which is also capable of providing starting current for the outboard motor, and thus the Rebelcell Pro battery can replace a traditional lead-acid battery as a boat's starting battery! You can view the battery charge, discharge current and charging from your own mobile device using a Bluetooth connection. The problem with traditional lithium batteries is that their cells are not suitable for charging in freezing temperatures. The new Rebelcell Pro series battery has a built-in preheating of the cells, thus the battery can be charged at temperatures up to -20C. Preheating takes the necessary current from the charging current and therefore does not consume the battery's capacity for heating. The Rebelcell Pro series battery has an extended 5-year warranty!
