Drinking water approved cable can be installed on top of and inside pipes. Note: 80 m and 100 m are approved for installation on the outside of the pipe only, not for installation inside the pipe due to the switching current peak. The cable is pre-terminated and has a 2 m cold lead with a plug. The pressure outlet (ETL-GLAND-01 Snro 17 490 00) is purchased in bulk and installed afterwards if necessary. FrostGuard is self-regulating, so it will not overheat. However, the cable will in practice heat up slightly all the time, so the use of a thermostat is recommended. As a thermostat you can use e.g. the plug-in thermostat FrostGuard-ECO Snro 26 154 01 or for fixed installation Raystat V5 Snro 81 710 95. Cable power: 10 W/m (+5 °C) above the pipe and 20 W/m (+5 °C) inside the pipe in water. Maximum fuse size 10A.
