A common feature of all Scatter Rap rods is a unique, back-and-forth, side-to-side swimming motion that triggers the predator fish's natural predatory instinct. The swimming motion of these rods is reminiscent of the behaviour of a panicked, fleeing and diving prey fish. In addition, each Scatter Rap rod has its own special characteristics...
The Scatter Rap swim is very effective for all Finnish predatory fish, whether pike, trout, pike perch or even salmon. Which of the lures is best must be decided every day by trial and error. In addition to the swimming motion, the shape of the rod's body makes a big difference. Whether you swim a shad or a minnow can turn a good day into a great one. The swimming depth of the rod also plays a crucial role - you need to get the lure close to the fish.
Scatter Rap Minnow: A very responsive, floating balsa body with a movement that combines a twist of the ribs with a gentle kick.Especially suited to pike and trout.
