The Rapala Scatter Rap Husky 13 is designed from the drag to the back hook for pike fishing. The delicate, minnow-shaped balsa body measures 13 cm in length, which is the size preferred by larger walleye. The product development department at Rapala's Vääksy factory put a lot of work into developing just the right swimbait. The swimming motion created by the Scatter Swim List consists of a side-to-side kick, a rotational movement of the rod body and side-to-side darting tails.
The inspiration for the development of the Rapala Scatter Rap Husky 13 came from Finnish watermen, and their expertise has been actively used throughout the product development process. Several World Championships competition teams participated in the colour design and test fishing of the rod.
