The biological filter is suitable for purifying tap water and dishwater in holiday homes. The maximum water volume is 50 l/h. The capacity can be extended with various accessories. BioBox SLIM is a lower version of the BioBox M model. The SLIM model is suitable for special applications and confined spaces.
Cleaning based on biological microbial activity takes place in filter elements. They allow the biofiltration (biofilm) process to be intensified in a small space. The microbes in the elements remove organic matter, pollutants and nutrients from the wastewater. The BioBox works well in areas where there are load fluctuations, the enhanced filter reacts quickly to load changes.
The treatment is easy to perform yourself. The filter elements are lifted up and cleaned by brushing or washing. The waste cleaned from the elements is composted or sent to waste management. The BioBox has very low running costs, the filters need to be replaced every 10-15 years and the device does not use electricity.
