9 hours of use on a single charge
One charge gives up to 9 hours of battery life, good for an all-night hunting trip. The ingenious, all-new battery case is easy to use and puts the battery right where you want it. You simply unlock the lid on top of your rifle scope and replace the dead battery with a new battery holder - even in the pitch black with a hand-held scalpel.
Mounting the rifle scope on a multi-point mounting base on a variety of rifles.
Useful screw points make positioning the Talion easy and flexible. All you have to do is move the scope forward or backward until you find the most suitable viewing distance.
All functions immediately available
All the controls of the thermal sight are at your fingertips and the Pulsar Talion is easy to use, regardless of your handedness.
Fast battery replacement with battery coil and quick release
The ingenious locking mechanism of the thermal sight's battery ensures fast and smooth battery replacement. Opening the lock opens and lifts the battery cover on top of the scope body, and the rechargeable battery can be changed in the blink of an eye.
Focusing instantly when hunting in the dark
With the 12 o'clock fins, you can find the right focus point in the blink of an eye, even if you're not looking at the scope at the time. The secret is simple: the fin handle locates itself on the raised part of the Talion's body as soon as the focusing distance reaches 70 metres (76 yards). This means you can quickly get the focus point in place even if you don't have time to glance at the telescopic sight.
Three signal sensitivity gain levels
Adjustable signal gain levels, combined with the fine-tunable brightness and contrast of new image enhancement algorithms, ensure perfect reproduction of details and the ability to distinguish different objects from their backgrounds in all weather and temperature conditions. The gain setting makes it easier to count horns, for example, and enhances the distinction of different objects from their backgrounds.
IPX7 waterproof body
Whether it's heavy rain, snowstorms or other forms of dampness, Talion's IPX7 waterproof rating ensures that the thermal viewfinder won't let you down in the wettest conditions! The Talion XQ38 can even withstand immersion to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes.
Five shooting profiles / 50 reset distances
Reset settings are stored in the shooting profiles. Up to five different shooting profiles for different weapons and ammunition can be stored in the Talion's memory. Each profile can have ten different reset distances.
Variable colour palettes
A selection of 8 different colour palettes enhances visibility in different conditions, allowing the user to choose the most suitable option for each situation and viewing condition. Hot white, hot black and hot red make it easier to detect object movement, while rainbow and ultramarine highlight differences in object temperature and facilitate identification. Red monochrome, sepia and violet reduce eye fatigue and are best suited for long night-time observation.
Lightweight and strong magnesium alloy body
The body of the Talion is made of magnesium alloy, making it strong yet lightweight. The durable and lightweight metal body also acts as a cooling element, removing waste heat generated in the internal parts of the instrument (especially the thermal imaging cell), thus keeping the sensitivity of the instrument stable.
